You have to love the intimacy of the barrel room of the Firestone Vineyard. So romantic, lovely and special to share with your friends and family. I met Lindsay and Dennis randomly in a restaurant, okay let’s say there is a restaurant attached to where we met! They were so bright and fun I fell in love with them immediately. I was honored to be a part of such a special day in their lives.

An XOXO Anniversary

My husband Rob and I celebrated our 8 year wedding anniversary (we have been together 12 years married 8 years) in September. I thought it would be fun to share our get-a-way weekend with you all.

We decided to indulge and check ourselves in to an exclusive hotel for a little R&R. We did just that with the beautiful and private Bacara Resort & Spa. Upon arriving to our room we were pleasantly surprised by a gorgeous display of champage & chocolate covered strawberries. Rob’s kind of sneaky like that.

A little down time together poolside was definiately on the agenda. If you haven’t visited Bacara before it is a must see. The pool experience alone allows you to rest your body, mind and soul. Order a pool side cocktail and you will forget about the world outside if only for a few fleeting hours.

The beatiful and always fun Melissa Musgrove so graciously offered to capture a few moments of us at sunset before dinner. Above you will see her amazing photos coupled with my amatuer hold the camera away
from the face and hope for the best shots. A million hugs and kisses Melissa!! I, in all my sneakiness, surprised Rob with a ride from the ever so kind Craig at Classic Motoring Car Rentals in a 1941 Cadillac. We enjoyed dinner at Bella Vista Restaurant at the Four Seasons Biltmore. And oh yes that is a little pic of us having an after dinner drink at the Bacara lobby bar.

We are both golfers (well he is and I try really hard) and had a great day at Sandpiper Golf Course. Don’t ask for my score card it wasn’t pretty that day, but I held my own.
